SmartOSC scoops up prestigious Asia-wide award

SmartOSC has been recognised with a Bronze at the Asia eCommerce Awards 2021 for a project to help one of the world’s leading computer brands revamp their online shopping.

The full-service digital commerce agency won the award presented by Marketing Interactive magazine for a project to help ASUS Singapore use a customer data platform (CDP) and omnichannel retail concepts to ramp up personalisation for both business buyers and consumers.

The Asia eCommerce Awards 2021 were judged by leading marketing experts from across Asia, with top executives from world-famous brands like Shopify, Cathay Pacific, Proctor & Gamble, and more on the panel.

The work to enhance ASUS Singapore’s shopping experience was achieved by leveraging technology from some of SmartOSC’s top partners, including Antsomi, Adobe Commerce and ConnectPOS.

The implementation of these technologies has helped increase web sessions and page views by over 43% and 40% respectively

On the business side of things, ASUS Singapore recorded over 5% units growth in its overall business in Singapore and an increase in average order value of over SG$1,400, while generating a 7% and 9% incremental in transactions and add-to-cart rate respectively and a 6% increase in conversion rate with the help of personalisation.

“I look for a personalized experience when I’m shopping for myself, so it was vital that our customers could get that same experience. That’s why our work with SmartOSC was so important, and we’re thrilled that the wider industry has stood up and taken note,” said Eddie Teng, Head of Marketing and Digital Business Manager at ASUS Singapore.

SmartOSC made its debut last year in Forrester’s Now Tech: APAC Digital Experience Services Q4, 2021 report and was recognized by the top research and advisory firm for offering competitive specialties that other large providers in the APAC market don’t. The CDP being used in this project is Antsomi CDP 365, an AI-enabled CDP built by Antsomi. Antsomi is a regional marketing technology company that has recently been recognized in Forrester’s Now Tech: Customer Data Platforms In Asia Pacific, Q4 2021 report.
